When we first started going to the midwives back in the fall, Emily and I would go for lunch at Budacki’s on the way home, first on bike, then in a compact car, then finally in a station wagon. Emily always has a vegetarian hotdog with fries and Dr. Pepper and I always have “Special A” (two hot dogs, an RC Cola and fries). Ellie is now part of the ritual: we went to Budacki’s on our way back from the pediatrician, who didn’t say anything about not feeding the baby hotdogs.

We’re also so happy to learn that Baby Girl Boose has been welcomed into the world and we can’t wait to meet her.

On another note, Em you look so slender and beautiful. People who see you carrying such a tiny baby must think you are the nanny because there is no way that you pushed out a baby that recently.
