We committed some of our music to tape, well, hard drive yesterday so we should have some music for interested friends/family soon. The “studio” was the spacious confines of Resurrection Covenant Church — hence all the Jesus pictures behind me. We could have used many many more hours — as the person doing the recording said, “Recording takes exactly as much time as you have” — so the final product isn’t as final as we all might have liked. Mind you, even if we had more hours, we would have exacerbated a problem none of us had anticipated: we’re all sufficiently inexperienced on our instruments that our fingers and arms had serious trouble holding up under the strain of multiple takes.
I’m glad to say that we’re all still talking to each other. We decided, however, that if we were The Beatles, I would be Paul because of my all-round bossiness (when it comes to the band).

great that you now have the music recorded and I know you will miss your Chicago Band but hopefully you will find people in Northfield to “jam” with.
The 4 of you are all geat people
Great photos — especially the black-and-white one. I see an album cover coming up! Although I guess it would be a CD cover today. Looking forward to hearing the tape! Sign me up for the Counterfactuals fan club.
