The Family *roll

Check out our fancy new url. This guy did it:

Thanks Sandy! You’ll note that everything looks the same, although the blog name is slightly different. The name comes from the last four letters of our respective last names, which are shared (Groll and Carroll). This also explains the url which is thefamilyroll.com and NOT the familygroll.com (for those of you that type urls into your address bar (i.e., no one)).

One substantial benefit of switching over is that we can put all kinds of things in the sidebar including a widget devoted to our picasa web albums, which displays a picture from our last 6 albums. Clicking on a picture will take you to that album. So, keep an eye out for new pictures over there.

We are in Toronto after a very succesful 9.5 hours in the car with Ellie. She slept more or less the entire time. Updates will be sparse for the next few days as we head into cottage country outside of Kingston where we’ll have (gasp!) no internet access (it feels like detoxing in rehab…or so I gather after watching Em’s new favorite show).
