Dear Sherri –
The family *roll is in no way an expert on high-kick dance teams or, for that matter, anything.
We could not venture jump or pivot or even move quickly into the dance world. We are very uncoordinated.
Please take this posting in the spirit it was intended – as a (hopefully) funny and very appreciative take on something completely new to us.
I am sorry if I upset you; it sounds like Burnsville gives Fbo a run for their money!

burnsville is ok?! we have won ten state championships. that is more than any other team in the state. i’d reconsider your previous statement, and maybe do your research before jumping into the dance world and assuming you know what/who is best.

oh no, it’s not just a minnesota phenomenon. this sort of dance team competition was huge in omaha, too. they would perform their routines at our pep rallies! i distinctly recall the first time our HS team did that on-their-back-splits-in-the-air move… talk about a controversy!
